Jiří „Uran“ Vítek
Jiří “Uran” Vítek is an architect, researcher, and independent designer specialising in 3D concrete printing (3DCP) and computational design. Since 2022 he has been working with Coral, as head of architecture, focusing on advancing 3DCP from concept to real-world implementation. He has contributed to pioneering 3DCP projects such as the Enterprise cable-car station and develops prototypes ranging from buildings to urban furniture. Since 2021 he has also worked as an independent designer for Voxel, creating product lines that explore the expressive and structural potential of digital fabrication. His work bridges parametric design, material-driven form finding, and robotic construction, promoting 3DCP as a scalable, efficient, and architecturally expressive method for the future of building.
Vít Fendrich
Vít Fendrych (MA) is an industrial designer, engineer, and technology visionary specialising in additive manufacturing and complex product design. He leads industrial design at Prusa Research, where he oversees the development of new 3D printers. His work has earned international recognition, including three Red Dot Awards and a Gold Medal at the International Engineering Fair in Brno for their HT90 printer. Since graduating from UMPRUM in Prague, he has designed medical equipment for UJP Praha, developed innovative CNC machines, and created advanced industrial solutions for CNC Konečný. For this project, Vít presents the 'Pishinger and Conica' furniture collections, created together with us at our Voxell studio. The collections explore both the expressive and structural potential of large-scale digital fabrication. His work combines an in-depth understanding of concrete 3D-printing technology with a spatial sensibility shaped by his earlier practice in free-form sculpture, which he pursued before turning to industrial design. By transforming technological constraints and material properties into a primary source of inspiration, he helps further concrete 3D printing as a distinctive and visually unconventional manufacturing method for the future of product design.
